Landlord Chris Green bought the Trout at Tadpole Bridge in 1996 and has since ensured the highest of standards for food, ales, wine and accommodation. Whether you are staying in one of the luxury bedrooms, dining next to the log fire or enjoying a drink in the extensive riverside garden you will always find a warm welcome.

The Trout has become widely renowned for the quality of its cuisine gaining an entry in The Good Food Guide and others. The high standard is maintained by Chris who is now running the kitchen as Chef Patron. A new dining room has been added to keep up with the demand from diners. This room can also be used for conferences and private parties.
